Well nothing really people ask me about buying them all the time and the good ones are beautiful.

When we have prohibited them from certain subdivisions we are planning it’s because the quality and exterior appearances vary so much you can’t tell if the final result is going to a Mansion or a shack. We have log homes for sale that anyone would be proud to own, these are on the high end of the price scale and the craftsmanship and quality of the homes are first rate. But, Can you imagine buying your dream home site and having your neighbor building a house from the trees he cut down from his lot, or using a kit where the bark was left on the exterior. Needless to say it’s easier to say no log homes in the subdivision than it is to qualify all aspects of its appearance or manufacturing methods. So no I’m not against log homes I love the better quality ones.
