Boyne USA Resorts takes over the management at Loon Mt.

In a press release dated 9/19/07 Boyne has reported it’s buy out of the Booth Creek Ski Holdings Co Management contract with Loon. “Aided by a partnership with CNL Income Properties, Inc., Boyne USA’s Ski Resort portfolio will become the third largest in North America and boast 10 resort locations operating in Maine, Montana, New Hampshire, Utah, Washington, and British Columbia.”.

The press release goes on to talk about the experience of the Boyne family in terms of chair lift and snow making technologies invented and perfected by Boyne since 1947.

The Goal will be to become the “Best four-season resort company in the world”, and suggests a multi-mountain pass available to all their resorts will be in the works shortly. Other year-round offerings that Boyne features are Golf courses, Spas, Water Parks, and hosting venues at the 2010 winter Olympic games.
