Ice Cream Delights

If you’re looking for fast, friendly service along with generous portions, be sure to add Ice Cream Delights in Lincoln, NH to your list of places to visit this summer.   Locally owned and operated since it opened in 1993, with owner/operator Joey Bishop at the helm for 25 of those years.  Known to many as, “The Ice Cream Man”; Bishop is proud of the shop’s well-known reputation for enormous servings. “It keeps all our customers coming back for a good product with exceptional value.”

The little red building originally housed an antique shop and later a second hand shop that faced Franklin Street. Then the building was moved to its current location. How can you go wrong serving up ice cream next to a pizza place?

Ice Cream Delights tries to offer something for everyone - hard ice cream, soft serve, homemade apple crisp, brownie sundaes, frappes, northern storms . . .  and the list goes on.  This season ICD offers an incredible new flavor, Red Velvet Revival – which is a rich, velvety ice cream with red velvet cake pieces and a ribbon of sweet chocolate fudge.

Along with chocolate, vanilla and twist soft-serve ice cream, Ice Cream Delights offers 37 flavors of hard ice creams.

A native to the area, Bishop is proud to be able to give back to the local community by donating to various fundraisers and organizations including the Lincoln-Woodstock Rotary’s annual mini golf tournament, the Lincoln-Woodstock Community Child Care Center’s Black Fly Golf tournament,  and the Annual National Night Out. Ice Cream Delights is proud to participate in community events, most recently a tour of the little red building and taste testing by the children of the Lincoln-Woodstock Community Child Care and every year before the last day of school, students from Lin-Wood’s Middle School walks to ICD and celebrates the end of the year with their favorite frozen treats.
